How i can
use the homepage? |
|
A:
Yet on the Homepage there are 12 sections, reachable by clicking on the text of the section or on the image (where available). First 6 sections - identified by the clickable thumbs - are those really photographic. The other sections are utilities, like the forum, the mailing-list or the links page. The monthly picture is chosen and changed at every update among ALL the pictures of the website, also among the images sent us by the Guests for their own galleries. |

Inside the FS, Private railways, Tramcars and Museums sections there are again other sections which order the train type and then the single class/group, the single private operator, the single tram network owner or the single museum or club. tables (Please note that this feature is available only in

What is and how works Photorail "OLDIES"? |
|
A:
Photorail Oldies is a rubric with no fixed update timing, with ancient vintage pictures of italian trains. The photos are listed inside the normal pages of the archive and are recognizable by the
"OLDIES" bar which precede them. The pictures come from various archives of italian and foreigner photographers whom kindly give them to Photorail. Some pages - because the old rolling stock reported are long gone - are for example made only by "oldies" images. You can however get immediately to those pages listing "oldies" pictures by following the link reported on the homepage for this section. |

Where i can find the website updates? |
|
A:
Every month the website is updated with new photos, new links, new issues and wallpapers and - when available - new Guests images. The monthly update can easily be looked up in the page
"Update" ("Questomese") reachable from the homepage. Pictures inserted here are then listed in appropriated pages by the month before. Other news about single pages or particular sections are directly reachable from the Update page by links. The website update is monthly and takes place generally in the last week of the month previous to that reported on this page (ex: update November '03 uploaded on 25/10/03). |
| -
How can i recognize the most recent pictures inside a page? |
|
A:
When photos are object of a thematic update - as eventually reported on the "Update" page - the cells containing the photos themselves have a red border. Instead, generally speaking, most recent uploaded pictures are inserted at the top of a page. |

Can i use the images of the website i've saved on my pc? |
|
A:
All images by Stefano Paolini and by other authors CAN'T be used if not for personal purpose. Commercialization or distribution without any preventive permission by the authors made applicable penalties and copyright connected laws. It's easier to ASK to the author - even through Photorail - the permission to use the picture. |
